The La Sportiva Akyra men's shoes are ideal for endurance runs and marathons. Comfortable and stable, they are built for extensive off-road use. It uses a tight upper, structured in 3 layers that provides, from the inside out: comfort, thanks to the seamless construction, flexibility and structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ application that follows the movement of the foot in a dynamic way while running, protection thanks in the structural applications Flex-Guard™ in microfibers that guarantee a light boot but at the same time provide protection from possible abrasions running between rocks and roots. Exceptional stability is provided by the TrailCage System™ technology that sits between the two layers of the upper and provides structure and a comfortable fit integrated with the lacing system. The outsole developed by La Sportiva uses the FriXion XT sole with shock braking system and the exclusive design with Trail Rocker technology that promotes the natural external support of the heel and inner toe during running. Shock absorption, protection and comfort, 3 sides of perfect geometry: origami, which inspired the overall design of the shoe.
